This is one of those dreamy recipes you see on Pinterest that you know looks so tempting to try, but you're pretty sure they're definitely not going to turn out the same. I've tried plenty of "healthy gummy bear" recipes and have never quite managed to get them right, up until this particular recipe, I think mainly given how straightforward it is. Now the major disclaimer here is that these do not feel like gummys in the mouth - they have more of a jelly-like texture and are very soft, but most importantly they were a HUGE hit with my baby and toddler and have incredibly clean ingredients compared to the store equivalents. You will need:1 cup of fruit juice (I used cold-pressed pomegranate juice, simply because it was the only juice I had already in the house)2-3 tbsps. maple syrup / agave syrup / honey1.5 tsps agar powder a gummy bear mold (easily available on Amazon)Method:1. Place your juice and maple syrup in a pan and let simmer on a low-heat2. Add in the agar powder, and let simmer for 5 minutes, mix well and remove all lumps3. Once the lumps have been dissolved, let cool for 5 minutes4. Using the dropper, fill the mold and place in the fridge to set for 10 minutes - Pro-tip, put the mold on a flat plate or tray, it will make it easier to transfer to the fridge
